Leaving Agadir — Morocco's Atlantic beach resort — and heading north to Marrakech is a comfortable 3-hour drive through one of Morocco's most beautiful landscapes. The route covers approximately 240 km via the N1 north and the A7 motorway, passing through the Souss-Massa argan forest region — a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve unique to southwest Morocco.
As you leave Agadir's modern beach city and head inland, the landscape quickly transitions to the characteristic argan tree scrubland of the Souss valley. These ancient, gnarly trees — found nowhere else in the world in such concentration — produce the world-famous argan oil. You'll pass roadside cooperatives selling fresh argan products directly to passing travellers. The route continues north through the Chichaoua plains before arriving in Marrakech.
This is a private, door-to-door transfer. We pick you up from your hotel or apartment in Agadir and deliver you directly to your accommodation in Marrakech.

Departure time: Depart Agadir by 7:00–8:00 AM to arrive in Marrakech by mid-morning. This gives you the entire day to explore the medina and Jemaa el-Fna square. Alternatively, an afternoon departure (1:00–2:00 PM) arrives you in Marrakech in the evening — perfect timing for the famous night market.
Argan cooperative stop: We can stop at an argan cooperative on the route for 15–20 minutes to buy authentic argan oil, amlou (argan-almond paste), and cosmetic products. Just mention this when booking.
On arriving in Marrakech: The old medina near Jemaa el-Fna is largely car-free. Your driver will drop you at the nearest accessible point to your riad — usually within 5 minutes' walk. The evening food stalls in the square are best experienced on your first night.
